THE NEWLY PAINTED OAK FOUNDATION OFFICE
THE OAK FOUNDATION has just secured a new office which is situated at 184 Obafemi Awolowo Way, Itamaga, Ikorodu Lagos is a development which cannot be under_emphasis. the office bears the official colour of the foundation i.e Orange and Purple.kudos to the ever responding partners.
THE OAK FOUNDATION INAUGURATION CEREMONY
THE OAK FOUNDATION INAUGURATION CEREMONY which took place on the 2nd of june,2013 at Graceland Multipurpose Hall at Ikorodu, Lagos was spectacular as series of events were unfolded.Among the captivating events was the cultural presentation by Olori-Oba group. The display of the dreamland of the foundation caught so many attendees unaware as they all applaud chorus expressing their joy. Some of the Great personalty atbthe event includes:

minutes of THE OAK FOUNDATION 2nd Partners meeting
Minutes
of the Inaugural meeting of The Oak Foundation (TOF) held today 11th
April, 2013 at the President’s residence: 184, ObafemiAwolowo Way, Itamaga,
Ikorodu, Lagos.
In Attendance:

1.0 The meeting commenced at exactly 1:27pm
with an opening prayer led by the Foundation coordinator,
Deacon Olubowale,R.R.
2.0 Reading of the Last Minutes:
The minutes of
the last meeting was read by the secretary and the followings were pointed out
for corrections:
2.1 Paragraph
6, Line 2 Read: “ Mr. Sylvester is endowed with knowledge and idea on how to
run the field” be replaced
with “Mr. Sylvester is endowed with knowledge and idea on how to run the foundation
2.2 Paragraph
6, Line 3 Read: “idea” be replaced with “ideas”
2.3 Paragraph
8, Line 1 Read: “Evang. Segilolasaid she
saw the president” be replaced with “Evang. Segilolasaid she saw the president of this foundation”
2.4 Paragraph
10, Line 2 Read: “whoever have in mind anyone that need to join the foundation”
be replaced with “whoever has in mind
anyone that needs to join the
foundation”
2.5 The
issue of T-Shirt was discussed at the last meeting but was not reflected in the
minutes.
Without any other omission, addition or observation,
motion for the adoption of the minutes was moved by Mr. Adenuga, V. and was
seconded by Daddy Oluyole
3.0 Matters Arising from the Last meeting
3.1 Blog/Website:
3.1.1 Bro.
Ife John said that we can open a blog site that can be accessed by all for
comments, saying further that this foundation have already opened a blog sites giving
the addresses as:

He
also gave the facebook and Tweeter addresses as:

3.1.2 Ife
said further that facebook and tweeter are social network where we can reach
out to friends. At this juncture,
Olubowale, R.R want to know if there will be any need for us to pay for the
sites or at what point in time do we
need to pay but Ife responded saying that for now, there is no payment for the blog sites, payment comes in
when we anticipate having a big site and by then , Ife suggested that we would rather move up to having a website
rather than expanding our blog site
3.1.3 Mr.
S.A. Ayanlaja said that how will people get to know our blog site for them to
get information, Mr. Ifeoluwa
John said that it is our collective responsibilities as partners and
individuals to create the awareness
by posting our blog site info on our facebook or tweeter account so that our
friends can see them, we can also
invite our friends to visit our blog.
3.2 Letterhead
Paper:

Oluyole said that we need to print new letterhead papers that will contain our
blog information. Mummy
Oluyole said that we are already planning to print new letterheads that will incorporate the blog site
information.
3.3 Inauguration
Planning and Logistics:
3.3.1 Mr.
Ayanlaja said that looking at the number of partners and the amount required
for the inauguration, he is of the
opinion that the inauguration date is too close stressing that we need to be financially buoyant before talking of
the inauguration but the foundation president said that things of God is not by what we see but by faith, saying that the
foundation has been existing for long
and have raised many lives to the glory of God. She concluded by saying that
all we need to do is to have the
interest of the foundation at heart and be determined by taking steps, God Himself will work out everything.
3.3.2 Olubowale,
R.R said that we need to do a thorough planning
as the inauguration is less than a month
from now just as the foundation president said that we need about #250,000:00
for the Inauguration, she said that Hall
and its expenses cost #45,000:00. Feeding, Transportation, T-Shirt and other logistics goes for about #210,000:00
breaking down the #250,000:00, this came after
Mr. Ayanlaja wished to have a
breakdown of the amount to be spent.
3.3.3 Mummy
Oluyole went further saying that we need to set up a committee that will do a
thorough work on the inauguration
modalities and come up with result.
The
following names were nominated and supported by all partners present to serve
in the committee for
inauguration modalities.

3.3.4 The
foundation president also hinted that the inauguration is going to be covered
by LTV 8 and if any of the
partners have any other media house that needs to cover the event, we should
inform the secretariat. She concluded
by saying that those who will need to support in cash can pay into the foundation account
3.3.5 Barr
Ademoyejo said that we may need to coopt the government and other politicians
to buy into the vision after
the inauguration and that we can also invite people like AbikeDabiri, Commissioner for Women Affairs, Churches,
Ikorodu North Local Government Chairman among many
others to attend the inauguration.
3.3.6 Mr.
BabatundeOlanrewaju on his own part said that we need to create enough
awareness by getting across the
length and breadth of Ikorodu, he said further that his organization always set
aside certain percentage of there income
for SOS, stressing that it will be a very good idea having this foundation for the visually impaired here in
Ikorodu.
4.0 Any Other Business:
4.1 It
was agreed by all partners present that awareness creation is vital and is the responsibility of all and not necessarily that of the PROs
4.2 The
foundation president said that awareness creation is one of the reasons
necessitating the production of
T-Shirts. She also mentioned that the use of band boys is also vital.
4.3 Mr.
Ifeoluwa John said that the prototype model will be ready in 2 weeks’ time
4.4 Barr.
Ademoyejo said that the motto of the foundation needs to be specific and not generalizing
it as contained in the
letterhead and fliers.
4.5 Mr.
BabatundeOlanrewaju also hinted that the location of the foundation is not
written on the fliers, hence, we need
to include that in the next printing.
4.6 Handbills
printing is also important for awareness creation said Barr. Ademoyejo
Next meeting was scheduled to hold at the same venue
on the 25th of May, 2013 by 11am prompt.
Without any further deliberation, motion for
adjournment was moved by Mr. BabatundeOlanrewaju and was seconded by Mr.
Adenuga, V.O
Closing prayer was
led by Barr. Ademoyejo at exactly 3:33pm
